Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. All forms of forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, and slavery are strictly prohibited across our business and supply chain.

Every applicant is offered a fair, transparent recruitment process. We verify right-to-work documentation directly, never withhold identity documents, and no worker is charged a fee for their employment with Kope-Medics.

All employees receive a written contract, are paid at least the National Living Wage, and are entitled to the statutory rest breaks, holiday, and sick pay set out in UK employment law.

We assess suppliers and agencies against our anti-slavery standards before engaging them, and we reserve the right to terminate any relationship where slavery or trafficking indicators are identified.

Managers and safeguarding leads receive training on the indicators of modern slavery and human trafficking so that concerns can be recognised and escalated promptly through our safeguarding procedures.

Any employee, service user, family member, or member of the public who has concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking connected to Kope-Medics is encouraged to report them without fear of reprisal.
